The Jacksonville Weavers' Guild, inc is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1974 the guild supports and promotes the crafts of handweaving, spinning, dyeing, basketry, and the textile arts in Northeast Florida. Membership in the Jacksonville Weavers' Guild offers: - Textile programs and workshops - An extensive textile library of books, magazines, and woven samples - Rental of guild weaving & spinning equipment - Opportunities for purchasing equipment, yarn, books and supplies - Venue for selling unique handcrafted textiles - Community outreach activities - Scholarship program for learning and sharing with Guild - Affiliated with Handweavers Guild of America, Inc - Members Only Facebook Group for sharing ideas and projects - Local community of weavers, spinners, and fiber enthusiasts who love to share and explore all things related to weaving, spinning, dyeing |
