2023 -2024 Programs & Events

PicturePam's weaving a nice plain weave fabric on her wide rigid heddle loom. 1 photo of 5 in slideshow
Our  September 9th  program is a hands-on continuation of the  “Orientation to the Rigid Heddle Loom”  presented in the Spring. Participants will see a demonstration of two finger manipulation techniques, Leno and Danish Medallions, followed by time to actually weave a Mug Rug on a loom. Once comfortable with plain weave the weaver can try adding one or both techniques to their rug. A finishing technique, Damascus fringe, will also be covered.
