The Jacksonville Weavers' Guild, inc is a non-profit 501C organization. Founded in 1974 the guild supports and promotes the crafts of handweaving, spinning, dyeing, basketry, and the textile arts in northeast Florida.
Membership with the Jacksonville Weavers' Guild offers:
- Textile programs and workshops
- An extensive textile library of books, magazines, and woven samples
- Rental of guild weaving & spinning equipment
- Opportunities for purchasing equipment, yarn, books and supplies
- Venue for selling unique handcrafted textiles
- Community outreach activities
- Affiliated with Florida Tropical Weavers Guild
- Affiliated with Handweavers Guild of America, Inc
- Local community of weavers, spinners, and fiber fanatics who love to share and explore weaving and textiles
